York Trip

York is kinda at the north of England, further north than my Sheffield! actually sheffield is said to be in the county 'South Yorkshire', which mean south york. Nothing particular interesting there but just lotz and lotz of historical buildings. In fact, those mid-ages castle wall and church were fabulous! Actually the whole city center now was a old city within the castle wall! You could just see the pieces of the middle-age old brick wall everywhere while you are walking around the city center. I just felt like so lucky to see it with my own eyes, especially the York Minister, one of the Europe finest cathedral... Here's the pics...

The Clifford Tower, built in 10th century!

Flood! heavy rain recently.. made us miss out a few interesting places to visit

The view of York Minister from the city center

The view from the local Art Gallery

The other side.. it was too big to fit in my n73 camera

The 'Constantine' statue in front of the cathedral

Big cathedral!

Me and Eric went up to the top of the York Minister! cost us 3.5pound for the entrance fee but it did worth it. 275 steps of stairs, made me so tired getting up there.. me fat edi la.. T.T.. Get nice views of the whole city back there though.

See the people at the right side of the pic? Enlarging....

I was there! below are the pics I took from that position..

P/s: Soon after we had finished our trip, the bus took us to the local shopping mall and I finally bought something! I dun really shop here much for clothing coz of the price la of course.. the clark shoe with 15 pound! branded, cool and comfortable wearing it.. worth it.. so i bought it without any doubt.. gonna shop more edi on the boxing day! (26th Dec) things are goin to be veli cheap!
